Welcome to another Koel Kings we can talk weekly captaincy options. The difference with this year’s captaincy advice is we won’t be telling you who is the best captain selections overall or even ranking them, but instead explaining who our previous Nobel Koel winners will be selecting in their teams and why.
Rainman: VC: Gawn normally monsters Nank so worth the punt on Wednesday night C: Lloyd hasn’t put a foot wrong and I am not concerned that any attention may come to him
Troy: VC: Gawn will be VC to put some interest in what could be a boring game. C: The Suns allowed 7 players to crack the tonne last week, looking for a Lachie Neale bounce-back.
Dave: This week Adam Treloar steps up to the VC plate with Jake Lloyd waiting in the Captains wings.
Russ: VC: Neale will kill the Suns 125+ C: Fyfe will be better again with another game under his belt 140+
Bakas: VC – Whitfield to bounce back after a relatively quiet game which still netted 104 points. C – Cripps gets the big C, let’s hope he kicks a bit more after racking up 32 handballs last week.
Rainman: VC: Gawn again C: Crippa is red hot and will be very good against the Hawks in Launy.
Troy: VC: Gawn for me here again, looking for a 130 to loophole. C: If Gawn gets 129 or under, then Grundy will be the man, hoping for a repeat of 155 vs Bellchambers last year.
Dave: Going with Gawn as my VC into Cripps as Captain if needed.
Russ: VC: Neal will bounce back 130+ C: Cripps will kill a you g Hawks mid 140+
Bakas: VC – Grundy on the big stage gets first crack C – Sticking with Cripps again who was on track for a big one last week but faded in the last quarter.
