Welcome to another Koel Kings we can talk weekly captaincy options. The difference with this year’s captaincy advice is we won’t be telling you who is the best captain selections overall or even ranking them, but instead explaining who our previous Nobel Koel winners will be selecting in their teams and why.
Troy: VC: Grundy again, with more confidence in this format. C: Looking for a Macrae bounceback against a Tigers outfit that allows fantasy points against them.
Rob: VC Boak in his 250th, red hot form and is a big occasion player, not worried about the greenwood tag, can see him going well against the pies C Maxy v McEvoy… get Captains done and dusted early this round and live with the consequences
Dave: Max Gawn will be my VC this week into C Patrick Cripps.
Bakas: VC – Expecting the Dees to bounce back and Maxy to play a big part in that C – Cripps to go large in a big opportunity to post a win against the struggling Kangas.
Russ: VC: Neale I feel will kill it 130+ C: Cripps will bounce back 130+
Troy: VC: Pies lead off the round so Grundy will be VC this week. C: Cogs will get the C assuming he plays. He’s good enough to work through a Hewitt tag if it comes to pass.
Rob: VC on Big Maxy against Big Boy, in good form, no Pruess again and a good record against the hawks C Andrew Gaff v the Suns should be very good, feel like he is starting to warm into the season and looks set for a big one
Dave: This week VC will be Travis Boak into C Matt Crouch.
Bakas: VC – Expecting the Dees to bounce back and Maxy to play a big part in that C – Cripps to go large in a big opportunity to post a win against the struggling Kangas.
Russ: VC: Neale will go off like a cracker jack 125+ C: Fyfe will do his best sexy for the year 140+
