Over the past eight seasons, Max Gawn has been a regular feature in our fantasy football sides. As he enters 2023, his ownership might not be as high as in previous seasons, but he holds the key to several possible outcomes for fantasy coaches this year.
Before rounds 6, 12 and 18, the gang at Champion Data add some new DPP into the game. After round 5 concludes on Monday, the first list of names and positions will be released. Historically, players need a minimum of 35% to be considered for a new allocation in a new position. So, we have in-season DPP additions for the first time in SuperCoach & DreamTeam history. Entering 2021, Max Gawn was coming off the back of a sensational season. He was viewed as the must-have player in every starting squad. Rather great coaches are looking multiple weeks ahead to be ready to be traded into their teams. In this new series, we look at players who this week and the following two weeks will have likely bottomed out in price and could be a tasty trade target for your side. Each week we’ll focus on the players in DreamTeam, AFLFantasy and SuperCoach you should be forecasting to bring into your side because they are ripe for the picking.
